I've heard of some people not being able to shut down their system with the indigo still inside the pcmcia slot but nothing like that hear, I can leave it in and shut down and my laptop doesn't even hesitate, or insert it after I turn it on either way everything is fine (and I don't work for echo)ītw you can even do prelistening on the indigo I/O version as long as you're playing in mono instead of stereo without losing the stereo positioning of your samples. We chose Plogue Bidule 5 as recording software for having 48 kHz, 24 bit. Xp and windows 2000 pro and it works flawlessly from day one with not one problem. I'm on a panasonic W2 laptop running windows The learning curve can be steep, but there are development environments out there that can help. I had a roland ua-30 and their is just no comparison. There are lots of reasons why you might want to write your own VST plugins. you might want to try another one i've seen a couple of post that tend to make me think there might be a few lemons out there but the majority of the folks who have them are overly satisfied with their quality, ease of use, and versatility. Sorry to hear that Valery the indigo is undoubtedly one of the best solutions available right now. (i haven't tried it yet but thats what tape-it is for) you would attatch the program tape-it to the output of your standalones and just record the audio you play while live is open at the same time. Yep that is correct rewire slave, the only apps that will let you do it right now are fruity loops (beta), Plogue Bidule (beta), and project 5, but if you had the indigo you could do it in theory without rewire.
